Who this policy covers
EnterSpeak is provided by Dayella Limited. This policy describes the current EnterSpeak apps and this static website, including the private beta. No EnterSpeak account is required for local dictation. This policy will be updated here if the service changes.
Recordings and text stay local by default
Speech recognition and AI text processing run on your device. EnterSpeak does not send your recorded audio or transcript to a cloud AI service for inference, and saved corrections are not sent to us for model training.
Recorded audio is held temporarily for processing and is deleted after processing. An interruption or crash can leave temporary files until cleanup. Audio files you import remain in their original location. Transcripts, original and corrected text, timestamps, preferences and dictionary entries are stored locally while you keep them.
Microphone, keyboard and clipboard
Microphone permission is used for dictation in the main app, including an active background microphone session used by the keyboard. Keyboard Full Access allows communication with the main app using shared on-device storage. Dictation commands and results pass between the app and keyboard there.
Copy actions place the selected text on the device clipboard. Keyboard insertion sends the result to the text field in the app you are using; that destination app handles it under its own privacy practices. Avoid dictating information you do not want that app to receive.
Optional private iCloud history
If you enable iCloud sync with eligible access, original and edited history text, record identifiers, timestamps and deletion markers are sent to your private CloudKit database in your Apple iCloud account. Audio, model files, your dictionary and the weekly usage ledger are not included in this history sync.
Sync is optional and off by default. It requires an internet connection and an available iCloud account. Apple operates iCloud under its own privacy terms. Turning off sync does not delete data already uploaded.
Model downloads and service providers
Model files download from their providers and delivery networks, including Hugging Face. Those services receive network information needed to serve the request, such as your IP address and requested file. Downloading a model does not upload your recordings or transcripts to those providers.
Apple provides app distribution, optional iCloud storage and purchase services. Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and processes network request information. These services have their own privacy policies: Apple, Hugging Face and Cloudflare. Their processing locations may differ from your country.
Purchases and local usage counts
When subscriptions are enabled, Apple handles payment and billing. EnterSpeak verifies Apple transactions and subscription status to determine access. We do not receive your payment card details or your Apple Account email from this verification.
Successful speech-to-text uses are counted on your device with request identifiers, dates and the setup time zone. Transcript contents are not stored in the usage ledger. The allowance is per installation/device, not a central account-wide usage record. Deleting history does not reset it.
Support and beta diagnostics
If you send feedback, we receive the content and contact information you choose to provide. TestFlight feedback and Apple diagnostic reporting may also include app version, device information, crash reports and screenshots, according to Apple’s reporting flow and your settings. Please remove unrelated personal information.
We use these reports to answer requests and diagnose problems. Support records are retained as needed to resolve the issue and meet applicable obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion through our support channel. We do not sell your recordings or transcripts or use them for advertising.
Your choices and deletion
You can remove local history, dictionary entries and downloaded packages in the app, and revoke microphone or keyboard permissions in device Settings. Keep a copy of any text you need before deleting it.
If history has synced to iCloud, a local deletion is propagated only when authorized sync successfully runs. Offline status, disabling sync or loss of sync access can leave an iCloud copy. Uninstalling the app does not by itself remove existing iCloud data or copies you pasted into another app. For an unresolved data-removal request, contact the team; we do not have a general dashboard that can read your private CloudKit history.
There is no EnterSpeak account to delete in this version. Apple subscriptions must be cancelled separately; deleting data or uninstalling does not stop renewal.
This website
This site adds no advertising or analytics scripts, recording features, signup forms or tracking cookies. The interactive homepage uses preset text and only writes to the clipboard after you select Copy. Website pages and language links work without an account. Cloudflare still processes request information needed to serve and protect the site.
